Matchbook from Don the Beachcomber in Palm Springs
date unknown, from the collection of Tiki-Kate
Have a photo or a collectible from Don the Beachcomber?
Add it to Critiki! Humuhumu’s description:
Early menus and other items are labelled "120 Via Lola," which maps to the south face of the site (rather than the east face, as with the above address). The Palm Springs location dates back to at least 1941.
Frank Sinatra was a regular here, and was reportedly a big tipper, but also a demanding customer. He liked the Navy Grog.
