The Rendez'vous opened in Summer 2005. Tropical drinks are served in tiki mugs and volcano bowls, and are mixed using fresh ingredients -- including mint. Decor includes pieces from Oceanic Arts and local carver Lake Tiki. Pretzels are available, and light food may be added in the future.

The biggest reason I will go back here is because the bartender/manager (I think) Matt is amazing. He knows his stuff and really made our experience fun. The music is too loud and really bad but the decor and drinks end up making up for it.
Tiki AND Karaoke?!?! It doesn't get better than that! Karaoke is on weekends only so we lucked out!
I love the decor because there is quite a large tiki decor collection to look at. The drinks are strong and tasty and the bartenders are eager to please. I wouldn't say they are the best tiki drinks I've ever had but the place is warm and inviting and feels like home. You could comfortably hang out for hours to just chatting and looking at the walls.

this bar has seen better days, all the great bar tenders have left . i will not go back . it looks cool but the drinks are watered down and the bar tender is a speed freak.
I love this bar because I didn't expect to find a tiki bar in Kenosha, and therefore it exceeded all expectations! I forget which bowl drink I had but it was tasty. Don't expect the most authentic recipes handed down through generations, but decent drinks. And I love that its a no smoking bar- Frankie's Tiki Room in Vegas is my all time favorite place but your clothes reek for days after leaving.
First impression was very tiki and hoped for the best. Drinks were pretty good took awhile to get. Staff was strange, they were out dated and out of their element it seemed, a strangely dressed fellow working with one rubber glove on touching fruit garnishments made me feel uneasy. Theme of the bar was decent but need more energetic staff that's more appealing to the tiki theme and not your local VFW.
There are better places out there to visit, I hoped for the best and had to reached for my hand sanitizer.
Don't plan on returning.
Everyone deserves a second chance so I decided to give this bar another try. Been here twice recently with friends and our drinks (mai tai, zombie) were made incorrectly on both visits. 80’s hairband music is the primary music of choice and the plastic tiki décor appears to be a afterthought. I questioned the bartender if their tiki drinks were offered in souvenir mugs. After a long puzzled look the bartender responded that this was the first time anyone had ever posed this question.
There are many nice pubs in Kenosha to meet friends for a drink and this bar is probably no exception, but as a “tiki bar”, Rendez'vous is a disappointment and is not deserving of its inflated 7.9 Critiki rating.
have tried this place twice, i like the decore but it seems to be a school hangout which would be fine if the bartenders could make a tiki drink. i would be able to put up with poison and the such being played on the radio but the drinks are terrible.
The Rendez'vous is my new favorite bar. We went there last night, Jan. 22, 2011, with some fellow Renaissance Faire pirate friends to escape the cold Wisconsin winter for a little piece of paradise, served up in funky glasses, garnished with pinapple, and with glow sticks as the stir sticks. I highly recommend the Rendez'vous for fantastic drinks, a super relaxing island vibe, and it's excellent decor that keeps you wanting to look in every little corner.
The Rendez'vous is my absolute favorite bar in Kenosha! They've just added an outdoor patio deck complete with TiKi torches!! Excellent....Love this joint!!!!
Jan 3rd, 2009 there were a couple of birthday's celebrated at the Rendez'vous Tiki Bar a 3 piece band Mystify was playing and there was standing room only. Another fun night for all!
Dec 13th, 2008 at the Rendez'vous Tiki Bar, Roger and the Wrayband (an instrumental surf band) played that night and it was alot of fun for all. What a fun night it was for all!
December 2008 Rendez'vous Tiki Bar is back to it's original romantic lounge atmosphere. Even with that romantic atmosphere, it's a relaxing non-smoking place to go to just hang with friends. The drink menu has recently been updated, adding about 15 new drinks. And from time to time there is a variety of really good live entertainment.
